    • ]]>     Ohhh yes, the markets are hurting today. Majority of my portfolio is in the red and I can feel the overcoming emotion. But I will not let this emotion get in the way like it did last time. My portfolio (last time) was up 20-30%.

    As it was my first time trading, I felt I had done a swell of a job, but let this be a lesson that is thrown around everywhere:
    1) NEVER EVER let emotion get in the way of how you see things
    - this is exactly what I had done back then and lost almost everything that I had gained in a matter of hours of trading (due to my transaction fees)

    2) The hardest part is selling!
    - Like last time, I did not sell when I should have and believed the stocks I was holding were really those “long-term” stocks. Thats not the case anymore. As a new trader, its still hard for me to sell when the time is right, and quite frankly, I sometimes know when the time is right, but I just don’t.

    Well, thats my thought for today as I see my portfolio tumble down oh so much! But I guess I will just sit on it for now.
